The key idea
Your first goal is a repeatable process: prepare, listen, record the outcome and agree on a next step.
Day 1: prepare your workspace
Confirm the products and states you can serve and complete the applicable carrier onboarding before presenting products. Create your agent account, verify your email and review the portal instructions for any eligible welcome credit. Save your licensed states. Keep your approved scripts, product materials and support contacts together so you can answer a question without guessing.
Day 2: buy a batch that fits your calendar
Reserve time for existing callbacks first. Then estimate how many new records you can review and attempt in the remaining time. Check the live quote and source details before buying. A wallet top-up and a lead order are separate actions; confirm that the order has fulfilled before planning your work around those records.
Days 3 and 4: work the inquiry, not a memorized pitch
Review the inquiry date, product and contact permissions before an attempt. Introduce yourself and your agency accurately. Do not claim you spoke before when the record only shows a missed call. Start with an open question about what the person wants help with, listen to the answer and write down the next action in your approved system.
Day 5: practice the transition to a decision
Summarize what the person said matters most. Explain the relevant options and unresolved details, using current approved materials. Ask what information would help them decide. A next step might be a comparison appointment or a requested callback; it does not have to be an application today.
Days 6 and 7: review before your second order
Count records attempted, actual conversations, appointments and completed outcomes separately. Identify where conversations stopped. If many records remain untouched, improve scheduling before purchasing more. If questions repeatedly exceed your knowledge, practice with your agency trainer before returning to those discussions.
